An old image of an allegedly ‘Indian spying quadcopter’ is being shared on social media claiming that an Indian spying quadcopter that had entered Nepal was shot down by the Nepali Army this month. Two tweets were found that claimed the above. One was from a twitter user by the name of Binsa Adesh who tweeted an image of a quadcopter with the claim that it was an Indian spying quadcopter shot down by Nepal Army. The other was by Irmak Idoya who shared the same image with the same claim.
The photo used in these tweets is from 2017. It had been tweeted by Pakistan’s DG ISPR which claimed that the Pakistan Army had shot down an Indian quadcopter. Using reverse-image search, a tweet dated October 27, 2017, from the official Twitter handle of Pakistan Armed Forces spokesperson, DG ISPR was found, where the picture in question was originally posted
