An old image of a road dug up and filled with sewage water is in circulation on social media with the claim that it is from Varanasi. The image is going viral at the same time when Varanasi has been declared the cleanest among the cities along the Ganga in the Sanitisation Rank list of the Swachh Survekshan 2020 that was held across 4,000 cities and towns across India.
To verify the claim, we conducted a reverse image search, it was found that a similar image had been viral on social media since 2018 claiming that it is from Delhi.
The applicants have been asked to deposit an online fee of 750 rupees and have been given a deadline for the acceptance of applications as 10th September. Ministry of Railways said, that the issuing of the advertisement by the organisation in question is illegal.
The ministry made it clear, that the recruitment of various categories of Group āCā and erstwhile Group āDā posts on Indian Railways is presently catered to by 21 Railway Recruitment Boards and 16 Railway Recruitment Cell only and no other agencies or organisation s have the power to do so. Vacancies on Indian Railways are filled up by giving wide publicity through Centralized Employment Notifications.
In addition to this, the Ministry also said that “the Railways have not authorized any private agency as yet to do the recruitment of staff on its behalf as claimed by the agency in question. Railways have initiated the investigation and are going on to take the strictest action as per law against the agency and persons involved in the matter”.
